How is a segmentation study conducted?

Segmentation research can be conducted in various ways. For example, quantitative research (online or offline) can provide insight into whether different segments can be distinguished. Quantitative research can reveal these target groups and also provide detailed insight into the behavior and aspects that play an important role for each target group.

Another way to conduct target group research is through qualitative research, for example in the form of in-depth interviews or an online community. Sometimes this complements the quantitative research mentioned above, as it allows for more in-depth analysis and dialogue with the target group.
