How is a concept test conducted?

A concept test is a type of research that is always tailor-made. Every concept, every market, and every organization is different. In addition, the insights that are already available and those that need to be investigated (further) vary depending on the concept and organization.

The most commonly used method for concept testing is quantitative research among consumer panels. We have direct access to an extensive consumer panel (B2C) and a large panel of participants from the business community (B2B). Of course, we can also conduct concept testing based on your own customer base. We are happy to discuss the possibilities with you.

If the research is intended to provide insight into the "why" question, you may also choose to conduct qualitative research first.

Of course, it is also possible to opt for a combination of quantitative and qualitative research. By combining both methods, you gain a broader and deeper insight into the perception of your target group. Quantitative research provides hard data, while qualitative research provides context and background information.
