The week of August 1 through 7, 2020, was World Breastfeeding Week.
A quarter of mothers intend to provide additional protection for their child by breastfeeding longer due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is one of the key findings from Markteffect's National Breastfeeding Survey, conducted on behalf of Gewoonborstvoeding.nl. Over 3,700 mothers were surveyed regarding their opinions and practices related to breastfeeding.
