The market for meat substitutes has evolved significantly in recent years. An increasing number of consumers are becoming aware of the impact of their food choices, both on their health and on the environment. This shift in awareness has led to a greater demand for plant-based alternatives that compete with meat products in terms of both taste and price. Consumers would more frequently opt for alternatives if they taste at least as good and are as affordable as meat. Nutritional values are also a significant factor in the decision to choose alternatives more often.
