Taste test: Bavaria 0.0%

How is the taste of Bavaria's new 0.0% lager rated?

Bavaria was founded in 1719, making it one of the oldest family businesses in the Netherlands. For seven generations, the Swinkels family has been brewing beer according to a unique family recipe. By using pure ingredients, Bavaria has guaranteed the best quality for 300 years. Bavaria is also a leader in product introductions on the market. Over the years, Bavaria has established a leading position in a number of niche markets. Bavaria is also the founder of the only real non-alcoholic beer.

New recipe

In order to maintain its leading position in the non-alcoholic beer market, Bavaria wants to continue innovating. For this reason, Bavaria has developed a new recipe for its 0.0% lager. Bavaria wanted to know how consumers would rate the new 0.0% lager in terms of taste, among other things. In response, Markteffect conducted a blind taste test Markteffect Bavaria's new 0.0% beer.

The study involved two target groups: users of Bavaria 0.0% lager and users of other brands of 0.0% lager. Participants were asked to come to a central location where they were offered four different 0.0% lager varieties. These included both the original and the new 0.0% lager from Bavaria and 0.0% lagers from two major competitors. After tasting the beers, the participants' findings were reported. This was done by means of a questionnaire that could also be completed on their own phones via a QR code. After the study, the tasters went home with a well-deserved basket of various 0.0% and specialty beers.
