In order to tailor its Fun & Entertainment program as closely as possible to the wishes and needs of its guests, Landal conducted a survey among its guest panels. The survey looked at expectations regarding activities, both before and during the stay, and which activities and facilities are considered most valuable.

Our approach
To determine which activities and facilities add the most value to guests' stays, a quantitative online survey was conducted among Landal guests.
The target group consisted of families with children up to the age of 16 from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany who had recently stayed at a Landal park.
The questionnaire also made use of a MaxDiff analysis. With this method, respondents were presented with a small selection of activities and facilities, which they had to rank from least to most important. This resulted in a clear ranking of the most decisive factors for guests' vacation experience.
By distinguishing between nationality, the composition of the travel group, and the length of stay, Landal gained a detailed picture of its guests' preferences and expectations.
Results
The results of the survey have been incorporated into a comprehensive report that clearly presents the most important insights. Thanks to the MaxDiff analysis, Landal has been able to clearly prioritize the Fun & Entertainment elements that are most valuable to its guests.
With these insights, Landal can tailor its activity program even better to the needs of its visitors, further optimizing the vacation experience.
