In addition to several colleagues attending to gain inspiration and catch up with colleagues, we also made a substantive contribution to the programme on both days. For example, Research Expert Mieke van Bergen, in her role on the SMART board, hosted a roundtable discussion on the skills that young data professionals need to develop today in order to remain relevant tomorrow.
In addition, Commercial Director Thomas Huigen and Data Specialist Demian van Gils took to the stage together this year. During this session, they took the audience on a journey through the technological developments of recent years in the field of data science and AI. Among other things, they discussed the philosophy, infrastructure, implementation and impact of investments in this area.
With a programme full of keynotes, workshops, roundtables and masterclasses, this year's MIE once again offered a unique mix of learning, networking and inspiration.
