Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process 

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data from website visitors under the age of 16. This is unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify if a visitor is over 16 years old. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children's online activities to prevent data from being collected about children without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us via info@markteffect.nl, and we will remove this information.

Markteffect only provides data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. 

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use 

Markteffect uses functional, analytical, and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file stored in the browser of your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit this website. Markteffect uses cookies with purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website functions properly and that, for example, your preferred settings are remembered. These cookies are also used to make the website work well and to optimize it. Additionally, we place cookies that track your browsing behavior so that we can offer customized content and advertisements. During your first visit to our website, we informed you about these cookies and requested your consent for their placement. Markteffect strives to deliver your websites and/or applications of the highest quality. To achieve this, it is necessary for Markteffect to regularly conduct statistical research so that it can make adjustments to its websites and/or applications where needed. 

Markteffect may use your information for this statistical research. Only specially designated Markteffect employees have access to your information for this purpose. The research results are always aggregated, meaning that the data in the research outcome cannot be personally traced back to you. 

View, modify, or delete data 

You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to withdraw any consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Markteffect, and you have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request to us to transfer the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization designated by you. You can send a request for access, rectification, erasure, data portability of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to info@markteffect.nl. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document with your request. In this copy, please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks. Markteffect also wishes to inform you that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.   

How we protect personal data 

Markteffect takes the protection of your data seriously and implements appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized alteration. If you have the impression that your data is not adequately secured, or if there are indications of misuse, please contact us via info@markteffect.nl. Markteffect has taken the following measures to secure your personal data:   

• Security software, such as a virus scanner and firewall.   
• TLS (formerly SSL). We send your data via a secure internet connection. You can see this in the address bar 'https' and the padlock in the address bar.  
• DKIM, SPF, and DMARC are three internet standards we use to prevent you from receiving emails in our name that contain viruses, are spam, or are intended to obtain personal (login) data.

The collected information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google adheres to the Privacy Shield principles and is affiliated with the Privacy Shield program of the US Department of Commerce. Social plug-ins
Our website includes buttons that allow you to promote ("like") or share ("tweet") web pages on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
