The national goal of lifelong learning is actively supported by both the government and the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science in the Netherlands. Educational institutions strive to help individuals keep their work skills up to date. The education market is in flux, with both publicly funded and privately funded educational institutions trying to meet the high demand for learning and adapt to an ever-changing context. This makes it important to stay close to the field and to investigate signals regarding the learning needs of employers and employees in various sectors in a timely manner.
