Consumer panel
We have access to a consumer panel network spread across the Netherlands. This also includes our own panel. It consists of panel members between the ages of 16 and 98, whose background characteristics such as gender, age, highest level of education, postal code, and nationality are known.
In addition to these standard characteristics, other background characteristics are often known, which can be used for preselection, such as family composition, income group, presence of pets in the household, type of home, hobbies, leisure activities, religious beliefs, type of insurance, and vacation plans.
Youth panel
We have access to a youth panel network consisting of panel members between the ages of 16 and 25. Various specific background characteristics are known about these young people. In addition to gender and postal code, these include current education, profile (if HAVO/VWO) and field of study (if MBO/HBO/WO).
Children aged 16 and older may be approached independently to participate in research. If you wish to interview children between the ages of 12 and 16, you may do so with parental consent. This group may be approached independently, but parents must actively give their consent in accordance with the stricter GDPR rules. Children under the age of 12 may also be interviewed, but they may never be approached independently.

International research panel
To conduct research among foreign consumers, we work with an international panel network. We have access to panels all over the world and now conduct research in more than 70 countries. This also makes international research possible at Markteffect.
Qualitative research panel
We also have access to a network of qualitative research panels with over 4,500 respondents. These panel members have indicated that they wish to participate in qualitative research. Not everyone can participate in qualitative research; panel members are carefully selected for this purpose. All members of this panel have been contacted by telephone and email to check and guarantee quality.
For qualitative research, panel members are invited to complete a screening questionnaire to check whether they meet the criteria for the study. Once they have completed the screening questionnaire, the respondent is contacted by telephone to schedule an appointment. We always send a confirmation email immediately and a text message the day before the study.
Privacy of our panel members
All panel members we work with are approached completely anonymously. Contact details will never be passed on to third parties without the explicit consent of the panel member. Research results are not linked to the respondent's contact details. We will therefore always act in accordance with GDPR legislation.
In addition, the panels from Markteffect are ISO certified, an important quality mark.
