(LLO) has a significant social impact and is of great importance. For a sustainable labor market and to continue solving social problems, it is important that individuals, teams, and organizations continue to develop. The government, educational institutions, and companies are promoting this by making financial and time resources available, but are often still searching for the right approach and strategy. Both current employees and job seekers must have the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills in order to remain fit for work and continue to participate in the labor market with enthusiasm and expertise. The theme of lifelong development is central to this and occupies an important position within education. By researching the wishes and needs of this group, the range of training courses on offer can be continuously adapted to the specific needs of working individuals and job seekers.  

Employers

Keeping knowledge and skills up to date and continuing to invest in employee development are essential items on the agenda for employers who want to remain attractive. The national goal of lifelong learning is actively supported by both the government and the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science in the Netherlands. Educational institutions strive to help individuals keep their work skills up to date. The education market is in flux, with both publicly funded and privately funded educational institutions trying to meet the high demand for learning and adapt to an ever-changing context. This makes it important to stay close to the field and to investigate signals regarding the learning needs of employers and employees in various sectors in a timely manner. It is also important to monitor the LLO position of an educational institution through image research.
