Markteffect part of The Relevance Group!

The Relevance Group is an international group comprising five companies specializing in market research, data science, marketing technology, and artificial intelligence (AI). These companies all operate under their own brand names and are based in Germany, Switzerland, and now also the Netherlands.

Markteffect and our Amsterdam-based sister company DirectResearch (together known as the Markteffect Group) are now also part of The Relevance Group. Both agencies will continue to operate under their own brand names.

Why this collaboration?

As a research agency, we are constantly looking around us to see and understand where the market is heading and how we too can remain future-proof. We ourselves spoke to a large number of experts from the market in 2022 and 2023. Everywhere we go, we hear and feel that this is where the research profession is headed in the coming years. No matter how important traditional market research—as we currently conduct it—will remain, we believe that more will be needed to stay ahead of the curve.

This collaboration now gives us many more opportunities in the areas of data science, marketing technology, and AI, should the need arise. It would have been impossible for us to build up this knowledge ourselves as effectively and quickly as we can now with this collaboration. For us, this is a huge and wonderful opportunity that came at exactly the right time.

Combination of active and passive data

Data is everywhere. Think, for example, of customer data, sales data, online data, marketing data, and external data sources. The trick is to link all this data together in the right way and, based on that, to understand consumer behavior even better—or even predict it. In addition, this helps, for example, in discovering new (market) opportunities and developing new revenue models.

By combining this passive data with our market research (active data) and applying the latest technologies, we can offer our clients much more than we do now. And that is what The Relevance Group has to offer.

What will change for you?

In fact, nothing will change. Our current market research services will remain exactly as they are. So if you don't want anything to change, nothing will change. The same people, the same passion, the same research, and the same quality you have always come to expect from us. Behind the scenes, we will be working very closely with the other agencies within The Relevance Group, but essentially Markteffect Markteffect.

However, if you are curious about the possibilities that The Relevance Group may offer you in the future, we would be happy to discuss this with you. But please note that there will be no changes to the current studies.
